Playgroup
Our Playgroup meets every Monday 10:00am to 11:30am. Playgroup enable children to familiarise themselves with the Centre and staff making the transition from playgroup to Rural Care or Kindy much smoother. Cost is $2 per child, please bring a piece of fruit to share. More information can be found via their facebook page
Session Times
Preschool
Our Preschool sessions include the provisions under the Commonwealth agreement for Universal access to offer 600 hours to children.
Our Centre currently runs two full days on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:45am – 3:00pm. We also have Friday sessions in weeks 2,4,6 & 8 from 8:45am - 3:00pm Our transition program runs throughout the year, with weekly visits to and from the children at Cowell Area School ensuring that each child has a smooth transition into their schooling life.
Children may attend kindergarten via the school bus if permission is given from the school and on depending on available space. Please download our Parent Handbook for more information
Rural Care
Sessions for Rural Care operate Monday to Friday, with full day sessions operating from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Half day sessions are also available as follows:
